Background Plants

Background plants for the aquarium are plants that can grow a little taller. In the AquaInfo database, we maintain a minimum length of about 40 centimeters. You put these plants at the back to prevent them from completely overshadowing smaller plants. Usually, you put some plants from the middle zone and foreground in front of the background plants.

Make sure that you also have plants that vary in color and type of leaf in the background. This contrast gives a nicer image than just the same color and shape. The background plants are often used to hide technology and (parts of) the back wall.
