Description

Leptobotia elongata is one of the largest loaches with a maximum length of 40-55 cm. The species occurs in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, where its survival is threatened. This fish needs running, oxygenated water. The species occurs in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, where its survival is threatened. Although this Leptobotia can tolerate high temperatures for short periods, it should be kept at a moderate temperature (15-21 degrees Celsius). Very social species that should be kept in groups of at least 5.
