Badis

The Badis genus has 22 species, of which Badis badis is the best known. They are relatively small fish, the smallest reaching 2.1 centimeters and the largest a maximum of 7 centimeters. You can find members of this genus in Nepal, India and Bangladesh. Together with the genus Dario, they form the family Badidae.
