Anomalochromis

The genus Anomalochromis is monotypic. This means that the genus has only one species: Anomalochromis thomasi.

Origin

Anomalochromis originates from West Africa in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. They inhabit the rivers in the wooded areas. The water is characterized by being oxygen-rich and slightly acidic.
