Neolamprologus

The genus Neolamprologus consists of about 50 species. With the exception of one species, the Neolamprologus devosi, which occurs in the Malagarasi River, they all live in Lake Tanganyika in Africa. The Malagarasi River is one of the feeder rivers of Lake Tanganyika and partly forms the border between Burundi and Tanzania.
