Lamprologus meleagris
The aquarium should be set up with a sandy substrate with several snail shells. Lamprologus meleagris lives in the shells and he makes a territory around them. He defends this territory very fanatic. You can use some hard plants such as Vallisneria for decoration as well.
Dieet
You should give them small live food. They will also take flakes and small granulates.
Breeding Lamprologus meleagris
Breeding Lamprologus meleagris is rather easy. The eggs are laid and fertilized in a shell. After 8 days the young fishes are swimming free. You can raise them with baby brine shrimp and crushed flakes.
