I observed these IUCN listed Labeobarbus nelspruitensis (Chiselmouth) in the Sabie River, South Africa.

These Chiselmouth yellowfish have short spade like bottom lips that scrape aufwuchs and algae off of rocks ...in clear fast flowing streams.

These fish are listed as Near Threatened due to their endemic status and habitat loss. As you can see the fish are adapted to decent flows and need clear good quality water for their food to develop.
